CROOKED FINGER STRAIGHTENED AND MORE! 9 Sept 08

I had prayed for an encounter with the Holy Spirit and God’s goodness, but what happened was so much MORE than I ever expected!

On Friday night as Bill was praying for various conditions. I gradually became aware that my back, which I had injured during nursing training 17 years ago and always had some residual pain, was no longer hurting. I started moving around, bending forward and bending back (the movements that usually created the most pain) and realised that there was no more pain. I was stunned!

On Sunday night, Bill was on stage sharing a story about a woman who had broken her little finger years earlier and how it had grown crooked. I remembered that Bill had taught earlier in the conference how, when a testimony is given, it releases an anointing for healing for those hearing the testimony. I turned to my husband, and showed him my crooked little finger which had been broken when I was 9 or 10 years old in a schoolyard accident. I didn’t have any major prayer over it, I just simply held it in my opposite hand and said “Thanks God” and that was it.

A few minutes later I looked down and my finger was totally straight! I was shaking so hard! I had always expected some sort of desperate need to be the basis for a miracle, but this little finger had never bothered me, I was not traumatised by its shape and, in fact, I didn’t even notice its’ crookedness anymore. For God to heal it blew away every preconception about ‘what qualifies for a miracle’ that I had previously had. Later as I gave my testimony on stage, a young girl in the audience had her crooked finger straightened by God as well. And, wait there’s more!

As we left church, I remembered how my Dad had a crooked little finger from an injury when he was a youngster, so I sent an sms to him in South Africa telling him to accept his healing too. I immediately got a reply saying his finger was 90% straighter. The next morning, I got a photo sent via sms from my Dad showing me how his finger was now totally straight!

Touch Screen Healings June 08


Tonight one of Alyse’s bible college mates had a bunch of his high school buddies take him out for dinner just around the corner. He called in beforehand and we suggested he come over after dinner and watch the remainder of Todd Bentley. Well he did, but he also brought all his friends (all non Christian) over too.

During the transmission they saw around three deaf ears opened and heard several miracle testimonies and so after a time we asked if any needed healing. Within a few minutes one said he had a sprained ankle that was sore to move and so we encouraged him to touch the screen. He did and his friends asked if it was healed. He moved it around and around and began to smile – it was fine. No pain. Then his girlfriend who had a sore neck went and touched the screen. She had said she felt a dizziness for a few moments and then moved her head – no pain either!

How easy was it to move seamlessly into a discussion about the love of God. No salvations, but we have 6 young people thinking about God for perhaps the first time and leaving our place challenged to ask God if what they saw was real and to reveal himself to them.
