Healing from Cancer June 08

We have been praying for one of my work colleagues’ fiancé. They were to be married in March 2008 and a month before the wedding, she was diagnosed with cancer. The couple and their family were crushed with the news. He approached me at work and asked if we could please pray for her healing. Most of the people I work with don’t have a relationship with Jesus except for one person.

We came together in prayer and poured our hearts out to the Lord, seeking His mercy and healing for this lovely young lady and her fiancé.

She opted to have Chemo. The amazing thing has been that she hasn’t lost any hair and she looks unusually well. The best part is that just the other day, she was given the all clear by her physician and that the cancer is no-where to be found. Speaking with my work colleague, he tells me that their lives have changed forever. They are open to talking about Jesus and also look at life and people differently. 

Healing from Pancreatic Cancer June 08

Last week I got a phone call from one of my staff. His father (a believer) was diagnosed with cancer of the pancreas, they were due to do surgery today.
We had been praying all week, and have just found out that this morning when they did the prep tests there is no sign of the cancer at all.

Healing from Brain Cancer September 08

My friend Elizabeth was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer.  I wanted to bring her to the Sunday night Bill Johnson conference, so I prayed and asked God to shop me the right way to approach her and give me strength and courage.  I felt him say “no weapon formed against you can prosper. I AM THE LORD”  I felt straight away that was for her healing.  I passed on the flyer to Elizabeth’s husband.  Three days later he phoned to say Elizabeth had agreed to come.  Many people at CCC and Elizabeth’s church continued to pray for her.

When I phoned her on the Sunday of the service to see how she was feeling, she said she felt great, truly great and believed she had been touched by God.  When I asked if she was still coming to the service she said “You bet I am!”   She came and had prayer and afterwards at supper said “I know the Lord’s healing me.  All my symptoms have stopped.  I feel wonderful.”
