OUR STORY

In January 1990, 12 adults and 4 children moved from C3Oxford Falls in Sydney to start C3Camberwell. Our first meeting was held on the second Sunday of February 1990 in the Solway Primary School Hall, Ashburton. Within six months we relocated to the Camberwell High School for our Sunday gatherings. After seven and a half years of Sundays at Camberwell and three different office locations we moved to Box Hill into a 24/7 leased facility. Eight years later we moved into our own property in Rooks Road Vermont.

During this time the church has been led by our founding pastors, Peter and Lyn McHugh. Today the church has a national profile and is known for:

worship that facilitates intimacy with God

pursuit of healings, miracles and the supernatural activity of heaven here on earth

love for the broken-hearted, marginalised and disadvantaged

commitment to resourcing other churches of all denominations to represent Jesus well in their communities

We are a generous, loving, fun orientated community that is both multi-cultural and inter-generational in the way we do life together. We love Jesus and others and long to see our kind, good God get a better rap than religion and the media give Him.
